UFC Fight Georges St-Pierre Wins and YOU did too!

If you didn’t know, I am a huge UFC fan. I really love hanging out with freinds and going to watch all the fights.
Lastnight the main event was between Welterweight World Champion Georges St-Pierre and Lightweight World Champion BJ Penn. What a great fight match up. Both fighters World CHAMPIONS, both coming off great victories in their last fights, and both great competitors. Furthermore, this was the second time they fought…so it was a rematch…..AWESOME!
I’m kinda a geek about the whole thing too. I follow their prefight interviews, weigh-ins, and I watch their highlight reels from fights they’ve had in the past. I really enjoy this sport!
Anyway, as I was watching these great athletes step into the ring I couldn’t help but think here are two guys that are simply the very best at what they do. They are CHAMPIONS! They made a decision to be the absolute BEST and as a result they had over 20,000 people their to watch them fight, made millions in sponsership, and fight money, and have secured their fate in the UFC Hall of Fame. What an accomplishment.
So here is why I am writing about this today…What have you decided to be the best at? Are you just going through life getting by day to day? Or have you decided to be the very BEST at what you do? Have you list your competitive edge? When is the last time you raised you hand in VICTORY? Remember that feeling?
For BJ and Georges becoming champions started first with the decision to become CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! What will you be the best at starting today? Make the decision and then start your journey to becoming a CHAMPION. The good news is most people won’t decide to be the best so your chances are really good. I wish you the best and look forward to seeing you in the VICTORY RING.
